Top 3 Tuesday - Adam Sandler

Adam Sandler is a pretty funny guy! Not only is he a great actor, but he's also a very talented screenwriter as well. Sure he's been in some bad films, but when his movies are good they're really good!

Here's my three favourite Adam Sandler films -

3) Just Go With It - yes this film was very predictable and the humour was stupid at times, but for some reason I still liked it a lot. :-) Adam actually received a Razzie Award for Worst Actor for this film, but I didn't see what was so bad about his performance. Here is a funny clip -

2) Reign Over Me - in this film Adam played a guy who struggles with depression after his whole family die in the 9/11 tragedy. Yes that's right - Adam in a serious role. There is still some light humour in the film, but essentially his portrayal was very emotional and heartbreaking. He did a superb job, proving that he is a finer actor than some of his comedies allow him to be. Here's a touching scene -

1) Happy Gilmore - this film was my introduction to Adam and I instantly fell in love with his brand of ridiculous humour. This film is hilarious! There are so many moments that make me crack up. And it doesn't matter how many times I watch it, I still laugh every single time. It's great writing and comedy at its best. Here is my favourite scene -
